Thematic Series on Microgrid and Distribution system

The increased widespread integration of Microgrids, various distributed energy resources (DERs) on distribution networks have modified the distribution network from passive to active which offers distinct advantages to customers and utilities, i.e. improved energy efficiency, minimization of overall energy consumption, reduced environmental impact, improvement of reliability and resilience, network operational benefits and more cost efficient electricity infrastructure replacement.
This thematic series will cover this promising and dynamic area of research and development, while with a focusing on computational and technological aspects.

All papers and supplementary information (if any) should be submitted online and prepared according to PCMP guidelines. Authors should indicate that the paper is submitted for the thematic series in their cover letter and is not published or being considered to be published elsewhere. All submission will be subject to peer review before possible acceptance for publication in PCMP which is free of charge and highly accessed by readers from all over the world.
